The Tampa Bay Lightning went from a hot mess to red hot.
Tampa Bay rallied with five consecutive goals, four in the third period, for a 7-4 victory to extinguish the Flames.
Alex Killorn and Matthew Peca had career nights and Cory Conacher returned to the lineup with a vengeance as the Lightning erupted on offense despite getting little contributions from their top stars.
And Tampa Bay did it all against a Calgary team that just doesn’t surrender third-period leads.
But the way things started, it sure didn’t have the feel of an epic Lightning come back.
