Stamkos, Tampa Bay Lightning rescue a point in Tinseltown

LOS ANGELES - The standings in the National Hockey League are based on points, not necessarily wins and losses.

On Saturday, the Tampa Bay Lightning rescued one of those points and banked them in the standings. Steven Stamkos notched a pair of third-period goals to rally the Lightning from down two goals, including the tying goal in the final minute, before falling in overtime.
