Tampa Bay Lightning let down their goaltending in blowing late lead (again) to Leafs

TAMPA - Six games into the season, the Tampa Bay Lightning sit tied for most goals allowed in the league with the Carolina Hurricanes.

One might surmise that the absence of all-world goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy would be the factor in the inflated goals against allowed by the Lightning. Six games into the season, that assumption would be completely wrong.

The rate at which Tampa Bay is allowing goals has very little, if anything, to do with the goaltending.
