TORONTO - In the early stages of the season, the Tampa Bay Lightning have shown the familiar formula for closing out wins.
They have also shown a penchant for making late game mistakes that spoil shutout bids by Andrei Vasilevskiy.
On Thursday, it was one bad mistake that again spoiled a Vasilevskiy shutout performance, and eventually cost them a victory they had in their hands right up until the end.
And the mistake, again, came from a veteran player, who doubled down in overtime as the Lightning dropped a point to a division rival.
