The Tampa Bay Lightning opened up play in the Eastern Conference finals playing very much the role of a team that, in fact, had not played a game in more than a week. In hockey circles, a few days away from game action feels like waiting for Halloween when it's Easter. Ten days between games and it's looking forward to New Year's Eve on January 2.
