NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After a couple of speed bumps to start the season due to COVID protocols that forced three games to get postponed, the Tampa Bay Lightning are finally getting into the rhythm of a schedule.
The same could not be said for Monday's starting goaltender, Curtis McElhinney, who has only known the rhythm of practice day, off day, practice day for nearly a calendar year. Add in that he was sidelined for two weeks in Janurary due to COVID protocol, forced into self isolation at home away from the ice with only home workouts at his disposal to stay in some sort of condition.
