MONTREAL - The current stretch in the schedule the Tampa Bay Lightning continue to push through is relentless.
The games keep coming and coming and coming. It's game day, off day, game day, travel day, game day, off day, game day, game day, off day, travel day . . . and on and on and on.
It offers very little in the form of a respite.
So, it would seem, the team is taking a breather at inopportune times . . . in games.
Too often of late, by the time the Lightning catch their breath, they are already too far behind in the race to catch up no matter how much ground they make up.
It's a trend too...
