The pivot on the famed Triplet line, or That Line as some referred to it at the time, Johnson centered the top line in hockey between Ondrej Palat and Nikita Kucherov.
In his second full season in the NHL, Johnson delivered time and time again and led the league in playoff goals with 13 and tied for the lead with 23 points and might have been the Conn Smythe winner if not for a broken thumb suffered in the start of the Cup ...
