COLUMBUS, Ohio – After an unplanned week-long break, the Tampa Bay Lightning were back on the ice on Thursday for the first road contest of the year.
Waiting for them were the Columbus Blue Jackets, who hosted their first game at Nationwide Arena on the season.
While there was plenty of discussion heading into the game about the rematch of last season's playoff series, or even the postseason matchup the year before, and whether this is a building rivalry, in reality it was just the third game of the season.
