TAMPA - As the Tampa Bay Lightning made their way home from an extended road trip over the weekend, they knew a celebration awaited their arrival back on home ice.
The west side of the ice at Amalie Arena served as the stage for the team to honor Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos for scoring his 500th career goal, an accomplishment he reached a week ago in Vancouver, by showering him and his family with gifts to commemorate the achievement.
