TAMPA – What we witnessed in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals was ridiculous.
What we saw was beyond the scope of rational thought.
It was mesmerizing. And no matter how many times you watch it - over and over and over - it's still hard to describe what went on.
Oh, and the Tampa Bay Lightning also won by a lopsided result against the New York Islanders. But that's not what we witnessed.
There were a ton of possible storylines floating around by the time the Lightning put the finishing touches on an 8-2 victory against the New York Islanders to grab a 1-0 series lead.
