TAMPA - By virtue of Friday's result against the Dallas Stars, the Tampa Bay Lightning now know who their opponent will be whenever the 2021 NHL playoffs.
With two games remaining on the regular season schedule, the Lightning must wait on the when and the when their postseason journey will begin.
Before Tampa Bay gets to that point, the team heads south for two games against their in-state rival to determine who will gain home ice advantage when the playoffs do indeed begin.
