TAMPA – If there was any question as to the value Andrei Vasilevskiy provides to the Tampa Bay Lightning, Saturday's matinee meeting with the Chicago Blackhawks proved to be just the latest example.
Not that Vasilevskiy has any doubters, per se, and not that Saturday's game forced the three-time Vezina Trophy finalist to steal the game for his team. But there were enough moments during the game that Tampa Bay needed their goaltender to be the difference.
As usual, Vasilevskiy proved to be just that.
