TAMPA – The group of players on the ice at Amalie Arena for practice on Tuesday kind of looked like the Tampa Bay Lightning chances of hanging on to the top spot in the Atlantic Division these days – a little thin.
The Lightning have lost consecutive games for the second time in 10 days. And with six games left on the regular season schedule, Tampa Bay’s chances of winning the top overall spot in the Eastern Conference has been taken out of its control, in a sense.
While the Lightning still have two games remaining...
