The 2017 expansion draft selections were revealed on Wednesday during the NHL Awards show as the 30 selected players to form the initial roster of the league’s newest franchise were made know, just over 72 hours since the protected list of players were announced.
Every team in the league were affected by the expansion draft in some capacity. Vegas general manager George McPhee spent plenty of time wheeling, dealing and, of course, selecting players.
