Lightning already struck by injury bug

BRANDON - The Tampa Bay Lightning are only one game into the regular season and they are already have to make an injury related move to the roster.

The Lightning opened the season on Tuesday with a 5-3 victory against the Nashville Predators. Nick Paul scored a pair of third-period power play goals to help rally the Lightning to the win after Tampa Bay fell behind on the opening shift of the third period.

But at the end of the second period against the Predators, the Lightning lost one of their newest additions to the roster and did not play in the third period.
