ORLANDO – Bubble time is upon the Tampa Bay Lightning.
For some it will be of the champagne variety. For others, well, their bubble will just burst.
Tampa Bay has one preseason game remaining after Thursday’s 6-2 victory against Florida at Amway Center. The regular season drops the puck in one week as the Lightning open things up at home against the Panthers.
Between now and then, roster decisions have to be made to get down to the maximum of 23 players. And decisions that didn’t seem like they would be that difficult two weeks ago when training camp opened now have some complexity to them.
