TAMPA – All Star games are designed to showcase the skill and talent in today’s game.
After Sunday’s All-Star game performance, there may be none more skilled than Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov, who became the first player to record a hat trick in the All Star game since the league moved to the 3-on-3 tournament format, which started at the 2016 game in Nashville.
And, about that third goal to make hats and helmets rain down. He didn’t even shoot the puck.
