SUNRISE, Fla. - One year and one day before the Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers squared off to open the second round of the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the two teams played perhaps the most talked about game of the 2021 playoffs.
On May 16, 2021, the two neighboring teams took their sometimes faux regular season rivalry and turned into a full-fledged, all-out intense affair that looked more like a rumble on the backstreets of San Diego because it escalated quickly.
