TAMPA – After weeks of speculative back-and-forth about returning to play, radically realigned divisions and a truncated season, a tentative agreement for the NHL's return is now in place.
Nothing is final until everything is formally signed and sealed before delivery can be made, but the biggest step to a 2020-21 season has been taken. And, assuming it all comes together as agreed upon, things are about to happen lightning fast.
