TAMPA - Brandon Hagel arrived in Tampa in March to join the Tampa Bay Lightning on the march to a Stanley Cup Final.
Hagel played a key role, taking on the defensive assignments throughout most of the playoffs. It was a different role than where he came from in Chicago when he was in an offensive role and played on both special teams units.
