TAMPA – One week after eliminating the Boston Bruins and advancing to the Eastern Conference finals, the Tampa Bay Lightning open play against the New York Islanders.
While they have been off for a week since last playing, much of that in limbo while awaiting a location and opponent to open the series, they have prepared for what they are set to play in their fourth Eastern Conference finals in the past six years.
