TAMPA – The Tampa Bay Lightning quest for a three-peat begins at home with another banner-raising ceremony at Amalie Arena on October 12 against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
That's just one of the highlights of the full 82-game schedule for Tampa Bay which was released on Thursday.
The Lightning will take to the outdoors for the first time when they head to Nashville to face the Predators at Nissan Stadium in February. There is an expansion team arrival in November and an emotional return, a Stanley Cup Final rematch twice in December, a New Year's Eve showdown.
