TAMPA – The Tampa Bay Lightning made several moves on Monday to set their roster for the start of the season.
In a very unusual season, with some unorthodox rules including some that changed on the fly, the Lightning made some very surprising moves with two in particular involving veterans Luke Schenn and Tyler Johnson, all in the name of being not only cap compliant, but maintaining roster flexibility throughout the season.
It also means a prized rookie will be in the opening night lineup.
