TAMPA – The Tampa Bay Lightning returned home to some good news on the injury front Monday regarding defenseman Dan Girardi.Injured defenseman Dan Girardi is not expected to miss any significant amount of time after taking a puck to the back area of his head during Sunday’s game at Detroit.
Tampa put out a statement on Monday afternoon that Girardi is being listed as day-to-day after all tests came back negative – which would surmise a conclusion that he passed concussion protocol.
