TAMPA – The man advantage for the Tampa Bay Lightning in the early stages of the season looks like anything but an advantage as the adjust to being one man down.
It's been nearly four weeks since the team lost their top offensive spark when Nikita Kucherov went down with an undisclosed lower body injury on Oct. 16 that required a medical procedure to repair, which he underwent on Oct. 26. The expected recovery puts his possible return no sooner than the week of Christmas with after New Year's a more likely target date.
