TAMPA – Five months after a slow skate of shame off the ice in Columbus, the Tampa Bay Lightning reassembled at Amalie Arena on Thursday to report for training camp in preparation for the 2019-20 season.
After a record-breaking regular season with 62 victories, the Lightning were swept out of the postseason to end the 2018-19 campaign, leaving ample time for reflection over the longer-than-anticipated off-season.
