Tampa Bay Lightning have walked this path before, need a repeat

TAMPA - Past successes do not result in future gains.

The Tampa Bay Lightning are in an 0-2 series hole after dropping the first two games at Florida. It's not the first time they've been here. In fact it's been a few times in the Jon Cooper era.

Since Cooper took over behind the bench, Tampa Bay has now played 26 playoff series. This is the sixth time the Lightning have lost the first two games of the series. Twice they have lost the third game of the series - 2014 to Montreal and 2019 to Columbus. In two of the other three, they have won the next three games.
