TAMPA - When the Tampa Bay Lightning returned from a four-day break over Christmas weekend, hiding a empty feeling proved a little difficult when glancing at the ice for that first practice.
At one end of the ice, the goal had a "shooter tutor" tied to the goal posts and crossbar to provide a target for the skaters to shoot at. At the opposite end of the ice, suited up in goaltending gear, stood Tampa Bay goaltending coach Frantz Jean to provide the team a something more tangible to direct pucks toward.
