TAMPA - The Tampa Bay Lightning held their midseason scout meetings in January.
It's an annual occurrence among National Hockey League teams for the scouting departments - both amateur and pro scouts - to gather together to compare notes, assess players they've watched throughout the season to date, put together a wish list and compile potential targets ahead of the trade deadline that might bolster the Lightning roster for the playoffs.
