TAMPA - Five days after an anonymous accusation of sexual misconduct targeted Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Ian Cole, he has been cleared to return to the team following a league investigation.
Cole was suspended by the team on Sunday, October 9, two days before the season opener, after the accusations started to come to light via a Twitter account under a recently created account under the pseudo name of Emily Smith.
