TAMPA - Over the course of six days, the Tampa Bay Lightning have rested, rested, practiced, practiced, rested and practiced.
On the seventh day, they will rest. Again.
Yet, they still won't know their opponent for the Eastern Conference finals until sometime after 10:15 p.m. on Monday at the conclusion of the Game 7 matchup between the New York Rangers and the Carolina Hurricanes.
Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals comes on Wednesday.
