BRANDON – One of the closest guarded secrets in hockey circles is about to be revealed by the Tampa Bay Lightning.
With the start of the NHL season a week away, the Lightning are set to announce who will replace Hall of Fame announcer Rick Peckham as the television voice of the team. Tampa Bay is set to open the season on Jan. 13 against the Chicago Blackhawks, a game that will be broadcast nationally on NBCSN.
The first telecast set for Fox Sports Sun is Jan. 15, also against Chicago, when the new broadcast team will debut.
