TAMPA - Hockey season sits right around the corner with training camps scheduled to open up in the middle of September.
With the season starting earlier than normal - the league opens play on September 29 - and expanding to an 84-game schedule, the national television schedule for both ESPN and TNT was released on Wednesday. Coming off a ninth consecutive playoff appearance and 12th in the past 13 years, the Tampa Bay Lightning are once again a popular pick to play in the national spotlight with a total 14 games scheduled on national television.
