TAMPA – The path to the postseason for the Tampa Bay Lightning was revealed as the NHL released the full-season schedule for the 2019-20 season.
While the barbs will no doubt be bantered about regarding the importance of the regular season for the Lightning after a record-setting campaign followed with an epic fizzle out in the postseason, there is no chance at the postseason without a successful regular season to qualify.
Tampa Bay will start the next part of that journey at home against the Florida Panthers on October 3 before embarking on a six-game road trip.
