TAMPA – The normalcy of a typical NHL season went out the Zamboni door 11 months ago.
Nothing is as it's been.
Outside of the absence of fans in most arenas, and none of them close to capacity, the most noticeable element involves how the schedule sets up.
The two-game sets and multiple meetings on consecutive days provide a different feel and element to the games. Almost a playoff type feel that was noticeable when the Tampa Bay Lightning met the Nashville Predators for a pair of games last week at Amalie Arena.
