TAMPA – The Tampa Bay Lightning prospects put together a perfect weekend.
Through two games at the Lightning Prospect Showcase, Tampa Bay sits on top of the round robin standings with one more game remaining as the rookie camp starts to wind down. The final games take place on Tuesday at Advent Health Center Ice.
In a showcase in which the Lightning historically have not enjoyed a ton of success through the history of the franchise, Tampa Bay has shown through two games that, despite the lack of high draft picks, the cupboards are hardly bare when it comes to the organizational depth.
