TAMPA - Over the course of the past few days since the Tampa Bay Lightning season ended two wins shy of a second repeat championship, Nick Paul remained in town to tie up any loose ends after his three-month stint with his new team.
If there was one thing that Paul felt in the first few days of decompression it was feeling like he was at home.
And he felt welcomed nearly everywhere he went - out shopping, out for a dinner, on the golf course - from the local residents.
Like many who make prolonged visits to the Tampa Bay region, Paul took a look around and decided to stay longer. A lot longer....
