National Hockey League, NHLPA agree to shorten COVID quarantine

TAMPA - In a rapid reaction to new guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Player's Association agreed on Wednesday to reduce the quarantine time for COVID-19 protocols, under specific guidelines.
The NHL follows the lead of both the National Football League and the National Basketball Association in permitting players and staff to return to team activities and games sooner than earlier this season.
