TAMPA - The next month of the Tampa Bay Lightning schedule is going to look a lot like a first timer trying to learn to drive a manual transmission on a car, aka a stick shift.
There will be moments of sudden acceleration, quick stops, a lot of stuttering and long resting periods to try to reset before hitting the freeway of a schedule in March and April.
When it comes to trying to map it out and manage the next month, it's a balance between the gas and clutch for the coaching staff and the players.
