The next day, those travel plans were put on hold as the state of Texas dealt with rare frigid conditions that put a strain on the power grid which left millions without electricity for days.
The day after that, the Lightning returned to practice, hoping the second matchup with Dallas would still take place.
Nope, that one was put on hold, as well, leaving the Lightning in limbo all while stewing over a loss that led to some self-reflection.
