TAMPA – The Tampa Bay Lightning were dealt a double dose of potential bad news on the off day before facing the New York Islanders in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals on Friday.
While the status of top center Brayden Point remains in doubt after he left Game 2 in the second period, Tampa Bay knows they will be without the services of winger Alex Killorn, who will miss the game due to suspension.
Already without captain Steven Stamkos, who remains sidelined, the Lightning are facing the likelihood of playing in Game 3 without three of their top six forwards.
