Tampa Bay opens up the season with back-to-back games against in-state rival Florida Panthers on Oct. 6 and 7, starting with the season opener at Amalie Arena followed the next night at BB&T Center in Sunrise.
The league’s newest team, the Vegas Golden Knights, make their first trip to Amalie Arena on Jan. 18 while former Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop makes his return to Tampa with the Dallas Stars on Nov. 16.
