BRANDON - When defenseman Nick Perbix first arrived in Tampa for a summer development camp, he shared the ice with Mikhail Sergachev, Anthony Cirelli and Erik Cernak, among others.
Perbix had just been selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the sixth round in the 2017 draft, fresh out Elk River High School in Minnesota with an eye on heading to college at St. Cloud State. Five years later, Perbix has a wealth of experience under his belt spanning from the USHL, a four-year college career and a selection to the United States Olympic team.
