Well, at least by Florida standards because any semblance to experience sweater weather usually takes place indoors at the rink.
And the first sign arrives on Wednesday when the Tampa Bay Lightning begin the first official on-ice session of the 2022-23 season with the start of prospect camp. A group of 22 players - which includes some of the team's top prospects - will hold two days of practices at TGH IcePlex before heading off to Carolina to participate in a four-team, three-game showcase that begins Friday.
