Explain the unexplainable – why short time off the ice is too much time away

TAMPA - Taking time off from work means time to rest and relax, same for a butcher or baker or a candlestick maker. Or a hockey player.
Returning to work tends to bring rejuvenation and renewal.
Yet, when it comes to being off the ice, returning can be more like recovering from an all-night venture in Las Vegas the next morning. It can be a little shaky when taking that first step back out and there might be a few wobbles before things begin to feel familiar again.
