TAMPA – The conclusion to the 2019-20 NHL season proved to be unlike any other in league history.
With league shut down on March 12 with only a couple of weeks remaining in the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it took four months for games to resume inside protected "bubbles" located in Toronto and Edmonton. It meant no fans in the stands, no media access outside of the press box and no availability to what was taking place inside the bubble, seeing the full story of the Tampa Bay Lightning's journey to a title was all but impossible to see or tell.
