TAMPA – Trying to create a true team atmosphere provides many different options.
Under John Tortorella, the Lightning often took side trips while on the road - twice to Atlantic City - that often incorporated such activities as paint ball into the itinerary.
Guy Boucher utilized activities such as tag or touch football in place of morning skates. There was even a scavenger hunt organized one time during training camp in Mount Tremblay.
