COVID disrupts Tampa Bay Lighting season before it starts

BRANDON – The Tampa Bay Lightning season is already disrupted before it started.
In the time of COVID-19, what happened on Friday, just five days before the start of the season, is likely to happen again as Tampa Bay looks like it will already have to reschedule at least one game.

While Tampa Bay's season opening two-game set against the Chicago Blackhawks scheduled for Jan. 13 and 15 remain on track, the Jan. 17 game scheduled against the Dallas Stars is set to be rescheduled after eight positive COVID-19 tests shut down Stars camp for several days.
