The Tampa Bay Lightning have some decisions to make before settling on the opening night roster, which must be set by Oct. 2 at 5 p.m.
After making 27 cuts on Sunday, the Lightning now must pare things down to a maximum of 23 players before next week. With three preseason games remaining on the schedule – starting with Tuesday’s home game against Florida, which is the last home preseason game – it’s looking more and more as if Tampa Bay will go in to the season with a few players with little to no NHL experience.
